What's new in Alienbrain 2019
Alienbrain is now available with annual subscription pricing, making it more attractive than ever for small and large teams alike. Alienbrain is now fully integrated with Unreal Editor (4.22 and 4.23), allowing art teams to work in Unreal while benefitting from the version control of Alienbrain.
What's more, Unreal uassets are previewable in Alienbrain, even if you don't have Unreal Engine installed.
The Alienbrain preview and thumbnail system has been updated to handle additional file types such as Adobe Illustrator (AI and EPS), Unreal (uasset), and OpenEXR (EXR).
All without the need for external scripts or plug-ins to be installed.
Visual Studio 2017, 2019Source Control for VS2019
As well as the artist integrations listed above, the Alienbrain integration for Visual Studio has been updated to support VS2019.
64bit Client and SDKArchitecture Updates
The Alienbrain client and SDK have been updated to 64bit. The Alienbrain client is now compiled using Visual Studio 2017.
Apache 2.4, Windows 2019Technical Updates
Alienbrain 2019 officially supports Windows Server 2019. Furthermore, the Alienbrain Apache server has been updated to the latest 2.4 release.
